7th Fold DIYG, is a unique Do-It-Yourself Garage that offers a space for everyday people to work on their vehicles.

The name of the company, 7th Fold DIYG, holds a symbolic meaning related to the United States Armed Forces. Each fold of the flag represents a specific tribute, and the 7th fold specifically honors our Armed Forces.

Drawing inspiration from the long-standing tradition of Auto Hobby Shops on military bases, I realized during my research that the concept and idea are not new. However, I strongly believe that this model should be accessible to aspiring mechanics and DIYers everywhere. That's why I established this business, aiming to provide a unique space for individuals who are handy themselves or know someone who is.

At 7th Fold diyg, your safety is our most important priority. Working on cars can be challenging, rewarding, and fun-but it can also be dangerous. Please read and observe the following safety rules. We all love driving, but nobody likes driving to the hospital.

1. Please listen and follow all requests by 7th fold diyg staff. We are here to help you!
   
2. Cars may only be moved inside the shop by 7th fold diyg staff. A 7th fold diyg staffer will move your car to and from the work bay, and raise or lower the car to the level that you request. Regardless of your level of experience, our insurance requires this policy. There are no exceptions.
   
3. A 7th fold diyg staffer will check you in and inspect your workbay before you begin work. You are responsible for any missing tools that cannot be accounted for when you check out. Any missing tools will be billed directly to your account.
   
4. All tool breakages must be reported to a 7th fold diyg employee. Any tools that break under normal working conditions will NOT be the responsibility of the customer, provided they are reported to a 7th fold diyg staffer before your session ends.
   
5. ALL SPILLS must be reported to a 7th fold diyg staffer immediately.
   
6. All fluids must be drained into their specific, designated containers, which are provided in every workbay. Please ask a 7th fold diyg staffer if you are unsure which container to use.
   
7. Please refrain from running your vehicle inside the building. If extended running of your vehicle will be necessary to effect a proper repair, please notify a 7th fold diyg staffer before your visit.
   
8. Please clean excess mud/dirt/debris from your vehicle before bringing it to 7th fold diyg Workspace. It keeps our shop clean and your repairs easy!
   
9. Anyone who appears to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs will not be permitted into the workshop.
   

What's this really going to cost me? No hidden fees here.

• $38/hour for a flat bay
  
• $48/hr for the auto lifts,
  
• $288 for an 8 hr. flat bay day rate booking
  
• $345 for an 8 hr. bay with lift day rate booking
• $1,444 for a weekly rate flat bay
  
• $1,730 for a weekly rate,bay with lift
  
• We charge a one-time shop fee of $10 a visit. This pays for stuff like shop towels, rags, gloves, WD-40, etc. For your rental fee You get access to all tools, equipment, Wifi and youtube!
  

• Do you offer discounts? Yes. Active and former Military, first responders all get 10% off. Discounts cannot be combined or used with other offers or day and weekly rates.
  

• What if I go over my hour? Don't worry, you won't be charged more if you don't use the entire second hours. For example, if you are here 1 hour and 22 minutes, you will be charged for 1 hour and 30 minutes. Only here for 1 hour and 10 minutes, you are charged for 1 hour and 15 minutes. We charge for the full first hour but after that, in 15 minute increments (rounding up).
  

• What if I only reserve so many hours but need more? Just try and estimate the best you can when booking your appointment. We may do some shuffling so that the next person can use a bay for when they booked their appointment.
  

• What do I need to rent a bay? You need to be 18 years or older, a valid driver's license, proof of current auto insurance, read and sign our waiver. No one under the age of 12 is allowed on the shop floor unless special permission is granted. You must wear closed toe shoes, safety glasses and tuck/tie loose clothing. Oh, and money.
  

• How do I book a bay? You can book on-line through our website, call our shop, or walk-in. Walk-ins will be worked in based on demand, just like your barber.
  

• What can I not do at 7th fold DIYg? We don't have an alignment rack, tire balancer, tire machine or welding machine. These are injuries waiting to happen for the inexperienced DIY'er. Hope you understand. No smoking or drinking in the garage.
